What You'll Do

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and promoting a positive patient experience within our dispensary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while verifying physician orders and patient information.
  • Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
  • Conduct medication therapy management and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies related to pharmacy practice.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining records of controlled substances.
  • Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new medications, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
  • Train and mentor pharmacy staff and interns as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid pharmacist license in [insert state].
  • Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and patient care practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to navigate small spaces and reach items on high shelves.
  • Visual acuity to identify product details and assist customers with selection.
  • Able to handle and operate equipment such as cash registers and scales.
  • Comfortable working with various cannabis products and handling related tools and equipment.
  • Must be able and willing to travel between retail dispensary locations as business needs require.
